Monetary and Gift-in-Kind Donations

The Lighthouse fundraises and asks for donations in order to meet the need for programs and services. The mission of the Lighthouse is to educate, empower, and employ people who are visually impaired and blind.

Here are some of the ways you can make a donation:

Monetary Donations

• Click on the orange donate button on the top, right-hand corner of this website.
• Donate online at GiveSmart using your computer, or using your mobile device, text the word “blind” to 41444.
• Use Square online to donate.
• Send or drop off a check at the New Port Richey or Brooksville Lighthouse. Make your check payable to “Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind.”
• Drop off cash or make a credit card payment at the New Port Richey or Brooksville Lighthouse.
• Call the New Port Richey office at 727-815-0303, Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4pm, to make a credit card donation over the phone.

Automatic Donations

Automatic donations can be set up when you make an online donation, by clicking the orange donation button on the top right-hand corner of this website, or by going though GiveSmart. You can also arrange automatic donations in person or by calling the Lighthouse.

Gift-in-Kind Donations

The Lighthouse always has material needs that include program supplies, office supplies, and silent auction items. Please visit our wish list for details.
